Description
1, wafer/lug double eccentric butterfly valve call as high performance butterfly valve also, which can bear high pressure , with long longevity and good stability comparing with center line type butterfly valve.
2, wafer/lug double eccentric butterfly valve was improved based on the center line type butterfly valve, the main structure features is the stem axis deviated the disc center and valve body, the results of double eccentric makes the disc break away from the the seat after the valve was opened or closed, eliminated drastically the non-necessary excessive squeeze and scraping between disc and seat.
3, the significant reduction of scraping makes the wafer/lug eccentric butterfly valve can adopt metal material seat to improve eccentric butterfly valve’s application in high temperature field.
4, adopted eccentric structure, reduced the sealing ring’s friction, prolonged the valve’s longevity.

6, during wafer eccentric butterfly valve opening or closing, the butterfly plate sealing face will be deviated gradually from and pressed into gradually the valve seat’s sealing face, thus reducing the mechanical abrasion and damage between the butterfly plate and the valve seat during opening or closing. For the wafer double-eccentricity butterfly valve, when the butterfly plate rotates from 0° to 8°-12°, the butterfly plate sealing face will break away from the valve seat sealing face completely, thus reducing the mechanical abrasion and the extrusion corner travel during opening or closing the double eccentric butterfly valve. With the reduction of mechanical abrasion and extrusion, the sealing performance and service life of butterfly valve will be improved greatly.
